With this kit, you can work as a real palaeontologist and unearth from gypsum brick the bone replicas. Once excavated and cleaned the pieces assemble to reproduce a faithful replica model of the Tyrannosaurus Rex skull. The Dino Excavation kit also comes with the palaeontologist’s tools -a hammer and chisel- and an authentic T-Rex fossil bone fragment, plus an information companion booklet!
The T-Rex was a huge carnivore that grew up to 12 metres long and 6 metres tall! They were very clever, boasting a brain double the size of other large carnivores and were designed for hunting prey – they had 50-60 banana sized teeth that could rip almost 100 kg of flesh from its victim in one single bite!
