Curious Minds started life in a garden shed in 2004. Originally we were online only and featured a wide range of science, nature, space, & technology products, toys, kits, and gifts for the science enthusiast. We made our name by ensuring our range was curated for scientific integrity by our helpful & friendly scientifically trained staff.
In August 2013, our small business was the victim of an arson attack. We spent the next few years trying to rebuild what we had lost.
We couldn't have done it without the support from our local community!

Since our inception, we have expanded our operations to include a physical retail store and warehouses, allowing us to offer an even wider selection of products

As trained scientists with a passion for discovery, we take great pride in the science kits and equipment we have carefully curated through Curious Minds. Our team is dedicated to sourcing high-quality, engaging products that we believe our customers will appreciate. We are committed to continually expanding our range to include the best science kits and equipment available for our global customer base.
We pay meticulous attention to the scientific accuracy of our products. We provide feedback to suppliers and manufacturers about such inaccuracies, and if they are unwilling to make corrections, we choose not to carry their products.
Our goal is to ensure that you are completely satisfied with the quality of our offerings. If you have any concerns or suggestions for products you’d like to see in our range, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We are committed to continually improving both our products and our service.
We strive to make your experience in our online shop as welcoming and informative as a visit to our physical location. Our team is well-versed in our products and the subjects they explore—whether science, technology, or nature. If you have questions about whether a product is appropriate for a specific age group or educational purpose, feel free to contact us. You can reach us by phone at 01436-670806, email at orders@curiousminds.co.uk, or mail at Curious Minds, 112 West Princes Street, Helensburgh, G84 8XD, UK—whichever method suits you best.
