Conquer the skies with the 1/48 Hawker Sea Harrier FRS1 from Tamiya
The Hawker Siddeley Harrier was the world's first operational military VTOL (Vertical Take-Off and Landing) aircraft and the Sea Harrier was the navalized version of it. This kit depicts the Sea Harrier FRS.1, which ably countered Argentine aircraft during the Falklands War in 1982.
Details include movable vector thrust nozzles and the canopy and air brake which may be assembled in either open or closed positions. Ordnance such as Sidewinder missiles, 1,000lb bombs, and and 30mm Aden cannon pods are also included together with three marking options.
As with all our Tamiya model kits, instructions are clear and concise, in order to allow the modeller to build a detailed model with relative ease.
These assembly kits require paint and modelling glue sold separately.
