Conquer the Road with the 1/12 Yamaha YZF-R1 from Tamiya
- Making its debut at the 1997 Milan Motor Show was the Yamaha super sports YZF-R1, which was developed to be the fastest machine on winding roads.
- The compact design of the YZF-R1 as well as its sharp lines which include the cowlings and fuel tank are accurately reproduced as a plastic assembly model kit.
- The liquid-cooled 4-cylinder engine has been precisely rendered and features fine details such as cables that are depicted with vinyl tubing.
- The frame and swing bars come with a metal plated finish and an interchangeable single seat cowl and racing stand are also included with the kit.
As with all our Tamiya model kits, instructions are clear and concise, in order to allow the modeller to build a detailed model with relative ease.
These assembly kits require paint and modelling glue sold separately.
