The Fjord Horse Gelding is instantly recognizable with its light coat colour and dark dorsal stripe along its back. Even the tail and thick mane are two-tone. As the name suggests, the breed originally comes from Norway's rocky fjord landscape. With their short, strong legs, they are perfectly equipped for this terrain. But they also like to hang out in your playroom!
The solid-built Fjord horse gelding examines his surroundings with an alert gaze. He pricks up his small, pointed ears and listens. Can he hear someone coming across the field? He tilts his head thoughtfully. No, it was probably nothing – just the wind rustled the leaves. It's a pity really, because the sociable gelding with its distinctive stripe on his back and the two-tone mane really likes company. Maybe he'll just trot over to the Fjord Horse mare (sold separately) for a little chat.
