Opalite is a trade name for synthetic opalised glass and various opal simulants.
It is also used to promote impure varieties of variously coloured common opal.
Tumblestones are created by tumbling and polishing rough crystal pebbles to reveal their natural colour and beauty. This finish gives the stones a lovely soft feel which makes them perfect for meditation, display or simply is a nice object to hold in the hand.
Due to the tumbling process, each stone will be unique in shape, size and colour.
