A New Edition of Warhammer 40,000
This exhilarating new box introduces the 11th edition of Warhammer 40,000, and it’s loaded with extraordinary new miniatures. You’ll find two armies under the lid – a high-flying force of Blood Angels Space Marines, and a brutal horde of warlike Orks. You'll also find a rulebook, a background book, a set of mission cards, a deck of campaign cards, and more. It's ideal for everyone who's looking to take the plunge into a new era of war.
The Warhammer 40,000: Armageddon box includes:
– 61 multipart plastic push-fit miniatures
501 components, comprising two armies of brand-new miniatures, which can be assembled without glue. Both forces include a mix of infantry, leaders, and support, forming a solid core to expand your collections or start new ones.
– 23 Space Marines
Elite genetically enhanced soldiers with the finest armour, weapons, and wargear available. They will stop at nothing to protect the Imperium.
– 1 Captain with Relic Shield: Armed with a master-crafted power weapon, relic shield, and heavy bolt pistol. This skilled strategist has 2 helmeted head options and 1 bare head option.
– 1 Librarian: Equipped with a bolt pistol and a force weapon, they channel the fury of the Warp into energy blasts. The Librarian has 1 helmeted head option and 1 bare head option.
– 1 Chaplain with Jump Pack: Wielding an absolver bolt pistol and crozius arcanum, they plunge into combat on trails of fire, smiting their foes with thunderous blows.
– 1 Ancient: Equipped with a bolt pistol, bolt rifle, and close-combat weapon, they hold an honoured relic banner high to inspire fellow Space Marines. The Ancient has 1 helmeted head option and 1 bare head option.
– 10 Intercessors: Tough, flexible, and highly skilled warriors armed with bolt pistols, bolt rifles, and close-combat weapons. The Intercessor Sergeant is equipped with a Chainsword, and 1 Intercessor is equipped with a grenade launcher.
– 5 Vanguard Veterans with Jump Packs: 3 Vanguard Veterans and the Vanguard Veteran Sergeant are equipped with heavy bolt pistols and master-crafted power weapons. 1 Vanguard Veteran is equipped with a plasma pistol and a master-crafted power weapon. The Vanguard Veterans' Sergeant has 1 helmeted head option and 1 bare head option.
– 3 Eradicators with Heavy Bolters: They each wield a bolt pistol, heavy bolter, and a close-combat weapon to unleash withering fire, scything down enemy infantry. The Eradicators’ Sergeant has 1 helmed head option and 1 bare head option.
– 1 Land Speeder: Mobile fire support armed with a multi-melta, onslaught gatling cannon, stormfury missile launcher, and a close-combat weapon. The pilots have 1 helmeted head option and 1 bare head option each, and the Land Speeder can replace its onslaught gatling cannon with a heavy flamer.
– 38 Orks
Warlike aliens who love nothing more than a proper battle. Armageddon draws them like moths to a flame, and they return in force to take it once and for all.
– 1 Warboss: Carrying a kustom shoota and a kustom choppa, this hulking monster leads his forces from the very front.
– 1 Bannernob: Armed with a shoota and a choppa, this large and belligerent Ork has the honour of carrying the Waaagh! banner.
– 1 Bigboss: Equipped with a slugga and a two-handed big choppa, Bigbosses are second only to the tribe's Warboss.
– 1 Painboy with 1 Grot Orderly: Armed with dok's toolz, an 'urty syringe, and a faithful Grot Orderly, the Painboy is a violently enthusiastic battlefield surgeon.
– 1 Weirdboy: Armed with a bizarre 'eadbanger and a Waaagh! staff, this creature is a conduit for the psychic powers of the Waaagh!
– 20 Ork Boyz: The Ork Boyz are each armed with a slugga, a shoota, and a choppa, while the Boss Nob leaders carry a slugga, kustom shoota, and big choppa. The leaders have options for differing weapons and accessories, including banner, head, and torso armour configurations. 9 interchangeable heads can be used on any of the Boyz torsos, and some of the Boyz torsos and legs can be interchanged to create unique sculpts.
– 10 Gretchin: These weedy little sneaks are equipped with blastas and close-combat weapons – while scrawny and cowardly, Grots are decent shots. Several of the Gretchin's torsos and legs can be interchanged to create unique sculpts.
– 1 Wartrakk: This fast, lightly armoured attack vehicle is equipped with a kustom shoota, rokkit launcha, and choppas.
