Curious Minds dispatch orders daily between Monday and Friday. Whilst we do our utmost to complete a same-day dispatch for orders received by 3pm, we cannot guarantee to send items out within 48 hours.

Curious Minds use Royal Mail or national couriers where appropriate to ship goods. Most parcels will be sent via your selected postal service within 24 hours of ordering.

If you are outside the European Union, you may be subject to import duties and taxes which are levied once the package reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for further information. Additionally, when ordering from Curious Minds, you are considered the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods.

Cancellation Policy & Returns.

The distance selling rules, as laid down by Trading Standards, binds Curious Minds. You are entitled to return goods within seven days of receipt for a full refund if they do not suit your needs. This does not include the cost of return postage. If you wish to return an item, it must be complete, unopened and unused and the packaging must be intact, the packaging is considered part of the item.

Goods must be returned within 7 days of receipt and must be returned in their original, undamaged, packaging and in re-saleable condition. We recommend that you use a courier or signed for delivery method, as we cannot refund items lost in transit to us.

We regret that we cannot refund post and packaging costs.

All goods include VAT at 20%, unless otherwise stated.

Trade Descriptions Act

We have taken every care to ensure that pictures and descriptions of goods are accurate. Variations in colour and design may occur, especially with painted products. Sizes are approximate.


We work very hard to source our products from quality suppliers, our toys comply with European Toy Safety standards and carry the CE mark.
Many of the toys carry the logo, ‘not recommended for children under 3’ as they contain small parts. All other age recommendations are for guidance only.

Environmental Policy

Grasshopper Toys is very conscious of environmental issues concerning postage and packaging. We use cardboard boxes and try hard to use biodegradable packaging; sometimes we are unable to avoid plastic pillow packaging.  If your parcel does contain this type of packaging, please don’t throw it out, store it and re-use it on another occasion.  Occasionally we will recycle and reuse good quality packaging, we hope you don't mind.


Items must be paid for at the time of purchase, goods will not be dispatched until payment has been received. If instant payment by credit/debit card or Paypal is not made, we cannot guarantee that items will still be in stock when payment is received.
Where an organisation pays by Purchase Order, payment must be received within 7 days unless other terms are agreed.

For credit card payments we use the secure online payment services of PayPal Pro which accepts all major credit cards as well as Paypal. If you prefer to place your order by telephone please call us. If you pay over the telephone, you will need your credit card to hand and will be asked to provide us with your card details. Please note in order to protect your credit card security, we do not store your credit card details once the transaction has been completed.

Telephone payments are treated as instant payment and will be processed as speedily as possible. Please note that we can only accept telephone orders between the hours of 9am and 5pm, Monday – Saturday and 10am-4pm on Sundays.
