About the Panigale S Tricolore
Introduced to the world at the Milan Motor Show in 2011, the Ducati 1199 Panigale S Tricolore was instantly the talk of the motorcycle world. It is a limited edition version of the bike, commemorating 150 years since Italian unification, with its elegant cowls adorned in a stunning livery inspired by the Italian tricolour flag, and fitted with the full range of high performance option parts.
It makes liberal use of famed Italian manufacturer Ducati's race experience and gets 195hp out of a 1,198cc liquid-cooled L-Twin engine. A wealth of electronic components helps to control engine output, suspension characteristics and more, and racers have the DDA+ data analyser at their disposal to record lap times and a whole host of other data from their ride.
About the Model
- This is a 1/12 scale plastic model assembly kit. Length: 176mm, width: 68mm, height: 96mm.
- The aerodynamically honed form of the bike is captured in style, including renderings of the internal winglets in the side cowls.
- Features a detailed depiction of the class leading liquid cooled 4-cylinder engine.
- Engine, swing arm, front fork and muffler are screw-attached to the model frame.
- Has screw-attached headlight.
- Side and under cowl can be removed after completion of assembly.
- Metal plated parts are used for mirror surfaces.
- Tires have realistic texture and tread patterns.
- Comes with two marking options, masking stickers and a racing stand.
As with all our Tamiya model kits, instructions are clear and concise, in order to allow the modeller to build a detailed model with relative ease.
These assembly kits require paint and modelling glue sold separately.
