The human skull is built from about 30 separate pieces of bones when we are still unborn. An adult human brain weights about 1,400 g (3 pounds). During the development span, some of the jigsaw-liked bones join together to form a solid case to protect the brain and other delicate sense organs. The cranial nerve system is mainly including cerebral hemisphere, cerebellum, midbrain. thalamus, pons and medulla. Both cranial and spinal nerves link as the central nervous system (CNS).
